I built Betting the Future because I wanted a place where people don't just share how they see the future—they put a live, concrete prediction on it, on the record.
What I love about this format is that every bet is finite. In the public markets you can be right—a company beats earnings—and the stock still goes down. Here the question resolves, the clock runs out, and there's an answer. Call it right, you win. Call it wrong, you lose. No spin survives settlement.
Every episode, I hold the guests to that standard.

What is Betting the Future?
Betting the Future brings great minds into conversations about specific predictions. Guests explain their reasoning, and we follow the question through to its outcome.
How are predictions followed through?
We link the public prediction market associated with each interview so viewers can inspect the question and its resolution rules. A current market price can differ from the price at recording. Published letters preserve the original reasoning and add follow-up results.
Who can apply to be a guest?
Investors, quants, political analysts, scientists, researchers, traders and founders—and anyone with a question they have studied and a view they can explain—can apply.
